    Bio
     

    Eddie Stenstrom is a Swedish documentary photographer with journalistic influence. Currently based in the UK, his practice is focused on issues relating to identity, belonging, culture and community. Focusing on bringing out personal stories of those he photographs, spending a considerable amount of  time gaining insider perspective. Telling in-depth stories through images and text, he produces short & long term stories, photo essays, reportages and books. 

    He went on to study creative communication in college after which he made a career-defining choice of moving to the UK to study photography at University of Portsmouth.

    His achievements include, a commissioned solo exhibition (Tracing Safe/r Spaces) investigating and exploring the idea of “safe space” for Queer people.
